ISSUE 3: WAVE

Dear Readers,

For the last month, we have consistently asked the question: What washes over you?

And we received answers from all around the world—from Jaiden Geolingo’s poem Daybreak where the poignant language hits you like you “pierce through autumnal gaze/ & beyond the vaulted sky” to Anshi Purohit's prose a letter to my sister about watered-down spices, where everything done “is still a part of the leaving process,” the emotions resonate within us. We hope as you flip through these pages, you think about how language shapes a wave. The moment, the aftermath, the reflection.

Warmly,

Rosie Hong and Caroline Zhang
