kaleidoscope saint, 

loveseat confessional—

isn’t it funny 

our names are nowhere 

in the bible!

hypothalamic 

secretion, holy hell—

let’s make a home

with garlic hung

like mistletoe!

polythene promise,

polythene heart—

bite me in half

and drain my aorta

onto the floorboards!

snaggletooth kiss, 

systema naturae— 

bookend me with fire

and maybe heaven 

will be within our reach!
