NEWPAGES FEATURE
FLEETING DAZE was recently featured on NewPages Blog! We talked about our inspiration for starting our magazine, advice for contributors, and more. Read here!
Fleeting Daze is a youth-run literary magazine curating for work that is electric, passionate, and heartfelt. We strive to amplify the fleeting moments of the quotidian in each issue we release. We publish 4 issues annually and will respond to any submitted work within 24 hours. We accept all forms of literary arts from artists and writers age 13-24.
The days are fleeting…
The blaze of concrete on skin. The wishes you make on dandelions that spiral away into a breeze. Time melts like a popsicle over your hands. The roads seem as endless as the summer, but end just as quickly.
At Fleeting Daze, we seek to relive, recollect, recall these details, the memories and experiences that shape us and destroy us all at once. We look for writing or art that captures the liminal space between each moment in time, wrought with all the tragedy and magic that comes with growing up.
Show us the sunlight and the breeze, the monsters in your closet, the birthday wishes you made and forgot about days later. Give us the ache in your chest when you realized you could never go back. Tell us which raindrop won the race down the car window. We seek to highlight the spirited and the formidable— the fleeting moments that leave you in a daze.
